Ryan Buddie

Ryan Buddie is an avid tournament angler and part time walleye-steelhead guide on Lake Erie and its tributaries.  His life long passion for fishing took him North in the summer of 2003 to guide salmon and trout on the Togiak River in Alaska.  SInce then, his career has taken off as he has become a major player in walleye circuits across the country, a guide with Ohio Steelhead Drifters and a Charter Captian with Buddie Charters on Lake Erie.  Buddie credits his success in the walleye circuits to being a multi species angler with the ability to adapt to many different bodies of water and types of fishing.  Many of his salmon and trout techniques have been tweaked out and applied in the walleye game with tremendous success.   Accomplishments include:  2009 Runner Up Lake Erie Walleye Trail Team of the Year , 2010 National Masters Walleye Trail Team of the Year, 2009 10' 11' 12' 13' National Team CHampionship Qualifier, 2011 12' 13' 14' World Walleye Championship Qualifier, 2012 3rd place World Walleye CHampionship, Best overall accomplishment - Thousands of smile put on happy anglers that have gone fishing with him.
